Shockingly, they came back and finished switching over our electric pole today. :O It was amazing to watch. These guys were so fast. We have a brand new pole and everyone is gone. Very cool!
Nice! Your power didn't go out did it? It's obvious they are efficient and ready for whatever comes.
In contrast...we're realizing how bad the snow can be for a city when you don't normally get it. The town about 20 minutes away from us was declared a state of emergency and the national guard was brought in because of the snow! I swear... I think there's 3 snow plows for the entire metro area. Maybe they'll buy a few more for next year just in case. LOL
No, that was even more shocking than anything else...we never lost power. :) I totally know what you mean. We lived in Williamsburg, VA for two years and when it barely snowed...everything shut down. It amazed us how unprepared everyone there was. I'm sure yours will be gone soon and life will return to normal there, but if you are going to have snow...Christmas is the week to get it! :D Merry Christmas!
