The Wonderful Imagination

Our girls are at it again. :p  This afternoon while snacking on her grilled cheese sandwich, Sammie created lots of little bracelets for all their dolls and stuffed animals.  (Who waited patiently in a long line across our living room.)  One by one Alex moved them up to receive their bracelet.  They were all invited to a Link marathon at the defender cabinet and without proper id (aka...their bracelet) they couldn't come.  :D  Here is Alex curled up with everyone as the marathon begins!  LOL  This is how we kill the last hour of our afternoon waiting for Daddy to be home and our weekend to start!

Crocheted Creations

After many years of living in the North Country, I've acquired several different coats.  :p  So, in my spare time this fall, I've crocheted several different scarves, scarf-lets and a shawl.  :D  I already posted my brown scarf in an earlier post, but thought I would post a pic of the rest of them.  The deep red scarf, I just finished today.  Woohoo!  On to the next project. :D

Presents from the North

Thank you Uncle RC, Aunt Jeanine, Torrie and Brandi for the lovely sweaters and socks with yummy candy treats!  :D  You guys are the best! Much love.

Christmas at the Conn's

Right at noon we showed up at Mom and Dad Conn's for a meal fit for a King! :D  Eggs, hashbrowns, ham, sausage, bacon, biscuits and pancakes!  We talked, laughed and looked over old photo albums all afternoon.  Good memories.

Presents from Florida

We are on our way out to shop first thing tomorrow morning with Nanny, Papa and Nana & Uncle Eddie's gifts!  :D  Thank you everyone!

Presents form Oregon!

Thank you Uncle Jeremy, Aunt Andrea, Ian & Sawyer for the lovely hair clips, stationery and book labels. :D  What lovely gifts.

Christmas Eve....our Christmas!

After a list of Pros & Cons to decide if we should make Christmas in our house...on Christmas Eve instead...we approved opening presents last night! :D  We are a house full of children, but there is a lot of love.  LOL
We stayed up until 1:30 am, when I had to make Sammie go to bed, Alex welcomed sleep. :p
We all slept in late and went to Mom and Dad Conn's for brunch.  Yummmm.

Making Christmas Cookies on Christmas Eve

The girls and I spent over three hours making Christmas cookies last night, frosted gingerbread men, frosted sugar cookies and frosted peppermint canes!  :)  Sugar-ific!

Christmas Eve Sledding

Sledding this afternoon for over an hour and a half was such fun.  I got out of the mini-van to get them started and snap some pics of our girls and the surroundings, then crawled back into the warmth to read some more of my library book, Murder in Foggy Bottom.  :)  Sammie snapped a quick pic of me so that I could show you all my new scarf.  I made it from the yarn I had originally purchased for making socks.  {Making socks turned out to be very annoying.} :p

We are all cleaned up again and warm, ready for making Christmas cookies! :D  Post some pics of that later on.  Much love Family and Friends!
