Tonight we celebrated Sammie's 14th birthday. :) I made her cake from scratch last night. (Thank God for Martha Stewart recipes that always turn out good!) :p Thank you to everyone who sent her something. She loved them all.
The cake...ahhhh...my thoughts about the cake. I had it made by 11 pm after working all day. It had cooled and had everything finished but the writing. :p The Happy Birthday Sammie did not turn out the way I had hoped. So, I grabbed two knives and created a pattern with the two colored frostings. :D Sam loved it and I felt great relief that I hadn't ruined it. LOL
