Blogging Break
I won't be blogging very often for a while. I have hurt a disc in my neck and am down for a bit. Hoping to get better soon, but for now it's all resting. Love you all! Take care. Shel

Pixie Hollow in Alex's Room
1st pic is of the Tinker Bell that Sammie made Alex before she got her real one for Christmas. Didn't she do a great job with Barbie!?!?! :D
2nd picture is of the tinker fairies building things (aka Tinker's Nook). And there are Animal Talent fairies in the corner caring for the horse and hamster.

3rd picture is of the waterfall Sammie made with construction paper and paints. These are water fairies picking up dew drops.
Just thought I'd share our girls at play! :D Pretty cute huh!?!?!?

The Difference...
Last night Sammie excitedly got ready to go out to the movies for her first...Girls Night Out. :D She and two of her girlfriends met at the movies, by themselves. She had the very best time. (Missed having a pic of the other girl, she arrived late and left before I got there to pick up Sammie. Sam's friend in this pic is Niki.:))
Conversely, Alex was extremely excited to get Sammie off, so she and I could get to work on her Valentine Cards for the party coming up at her school. Isn't she a cutie!?!!! :D We had the best time. We sat on the end of her bed while she did one and then I did one. I wasn't sure if she would still want to do them next year...I think Sammie stopped in 5th grade...and I wanted to remember our last time together just in case.

Today's weather...
I sat in my oversized red chair for several hours and read...paused for a snack (took pic when I saw how inviting the setting looked:D) and then read some more. I loved this book. A little suspense, three deaths without a lot of gory details, and a budding romance you hope to have take off. Great characters and a lovely setting make this a mystery winner in my book. And with only 212 pages, it was a very quick read. ;)
All this prompted me to get to work finishing the mystery I started writing a couple months ago. I'm only on chapter thirteen and I have at least 100 pages to write to finish it. Winter is the best time to write while we are all trapped inside, but I find I do my best in Spring or Fall when I can go for a morning walk and come in refreshed. Ahhh....excuses, exuses. I'm off to write. (((HUGS)))
