The Difference...

that three years can make. :)

Last night Sammie excitedly got ready to go out to the movies for her first...Girls Night Out. :D  She and two of her girlfriends met at the movies, by themselves.  She had the very best time.  (Missed having a pic of the other girl, she arrived late and left before I got there to pick up Sammie.  Sam's friend in this pic is Niki.:))

Conversely, Alex was extremely excited to get Sammie off, so she and I could get to work on her Valentine Cards for the party coming up at her school.  Isn't she a cutie!?!!! :D  We had the best time.  We sat on the end of her bed while she did one and then I did one.  I wasn't sure if she would still want to do them next year...I think Sammie stopped in 5th grade...and I wanted to remember our last time together just in case.

My, they are at totally different stages, but still very close.  We are blessed.  Won't be long and we'll have two teenagers.  Wow.  I'll take everyday as it comes and cherish each one.
