Proof positive that there are still nice days to be had this summer. The girls and I visited the beach a few days ago and enjoyed the sun for over 4 hours! It was divinely relaxing to say the least. :D

Nana & Papa met us at Turtle Park where they were having a local blues festival. It was the most beautiful day I can remember and the music was great! Our girls made good use of the playground until Nana and Papa arrived with Chloe (their mini-pin) to run around with. All three were good and tired when we all left. Good times.

This week, my parents came up from Florida for a visit. They brought me a present, my great grandmother's piano! I used to sit on this bench as my feet would dangle back and forth, tinkering on the keys. Five generations of my mom's family have played this piano. Thank you Nanny True, Nana & Papa Caron for this wonderful gift that we all enjoy playing! (When I am playing it, Callie will sit beside me on the bench, pawing at the keys herself.)
